2025 SPECIAL ELECTION MESSAGE

As you might be aware, a special election was mandated by a recent court ruling. Despite earning an overwhelming majority of the vote in the May 21, 2024 primary, the court determined that a special election was necessary due to changes in district boundaries.  However, there is good news!!  On February 11, the community secured my re-election with a decisive 72% victory! The voters have reaffirmed their confidence in my leadership and commitment to serving their best interest.  However, we have another hurdle to overcome: the general election on April 29th.

IMPORTANT: Special elections often face low voter turnout, there were a total of 4,059 District 4 voters that participated i in the Feb. 11th Special Election Primary. People are banking on us not showing up to help secure their win, let's prove them wrong. This makes your participation more important than ever. It's crucial that we turn out in force to make our voices heard. Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to vote in the general election on April 29th to ensure our district's positive momentum and continued progress is not derailed.  Together, we can show the power of an active and united community. Stay engaged in the process.

Announcing My Re-Election Campaign

Welcome to my re-election campaign website!  I am excited to announce my decision run for re-election as your District 4 Commissioner.  This campaign is about continuing the progress we've made together and building an even stronger, more empowered community. My decision is based on my unwavering commitment to serving my community.  As a public servant, I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of my constituents.  My first term has been both fulfilling and exhilarating, enabling me to live out my purpose. Serving the resilient constituents of South and Southwest Cobb has been an incredible honor and privilege.

While we have achieved significant milestones during my initial term, and overwhelming support  during the May 21, 2024 primary election, the journey towards progress is ongoing.  I believe that by working together, we can achieve great things and build a better future for our community.  With a track record of effective leadership, community engagement, and constituent services, I am committed to building upon the momentum of our past successes in addressing the challenges and opportunities in District 4.

Together, we will forge ahead, advancing initiatives that promote prosperity, sustainability, and equity for all residents.  Our work is far from finished but with continued dedication and collaboration, we will make meaningful strides towards a brighter future for our community.

As your current District 4 Commissioner, I am honored to have the opportunity to continue serving you. February 11, 2025, is an important day for our community, and I encourage you to vote for me to continue our successes, progress, and positive momentum. Thank you for your support.
